This Hospitality Co-op Diploma is designed for different career paths in the hospitality and tourism industry. From a gastronomy professional to a graduate in hotel management; a tourism professional or even a business management graduate with interest in focusing in the hospitality industry. After completing the in-class study term of the program, you will get the opportunity to apply your newly acquired skills during your guaranteed paid co-op work experience.

Wondering what to expect at college for Hospitality Management in Canada? During your course, you will develop a deep knowledge of the global hospitality and tourism industry. You’ll then get to apply this knowledge in real-life situations during your hospitality work experience in Canada, giving you the blueprint to launch a successful international hospitality career.
To participate you must have at least your high school diploma, although 95% of our participants are graduates from University degrees in their countries and an intermediate English language level (TOEFL 510, IELTS 5.0 or equivalent*).

The students that normally apply to join our Hospitality Management Co-op program have graduated from hospitality, tourism or gastronomy programs in their home countries and want to get a good insight of the industry in Canada while improving their English. We also have candidates that have studied in different fields – like business, marketing and finance – and want to learn more about the hospitality industry. So all in all, you do not have to have a hospitality background to join the program.
No, you don’t have to have any previous studies or experience in hospitality or tourism to join the program. You will have classmates that have previous experience, but that does not mean that is a requirement.
Our Hospitality Management Co-op program will help you develop knowledge of the global hospitality and tourism industries. You will learn from experts in the field and broaden your knowledge on the complex needs of clients and how to resolve problems swiftly. You will develop the abilities to communicate clearly and manage a culturally diverse environment. Upon graduation, you will receive a diploma in hospitality management in Canada and be prepared to enter this rapidly expanding and dynamic industry, no matter the country where you want to work!
You will be studying subjects such as leadership, business management, business English, business communication, managing, housekeeping operations, hospitality facilities and design, managing service in food and beverage operations, convention management, marketing in the hospitality industry, and more!

Your schedule will be assigned to you during your first day of classes in Canada. The Hospitality program has a very concentrated schedule, where you might go to class for a few days all day, and then have free time to work.
